We have known Macauly via Qanvast. Upon meeting and discussing with him, we find that he is very passionate about his work and is able to provide suggestions to improve on what we convey to him. The way Mac prepared our quotation is something we liked, being able to explain his quotes clearly eg a higher price quoted for the tiles so that we could have a larger variety to select without having to top up. We are happy that his company and him have managed to keep the cost within our budget.

His gift and sensitivity to color tones have helped us vastly in our journey of material and color selection. No renovation is completed without any issues and this is also the case for us. However, Mac being very responsive, things such as miscommunication are resolved very rapidly. Although some of the things in discussion did not materialize due to technical and regulatory issues, Mac have provided us with other alternatives.

He is also very forthcoming, letting us know the potential issues during renovation and seek our confirmation if we decide to proceed such as joint line on Gypsum board, wall resulting in unequal glass door etc.

We find that the carpentry workmanship can still be improved further, and we are also very appreciative of the prompt rectifications he and his team have made as well as the many hours Mr Carpenter and him have spent to discuss on how to better utilize the space for the cabinets.

Overall, it is a great learning opportunity working with Mac. If you are finding someone who is honest, passionate, honor his words and do not make you top up unnecessarily, please find Macauly!
