The ID assigned for my project was Macauly (“Mac”).

During our very first meeting, Mac was very welcoming and patient in understanding our needs and wants. Being first time homeowners, we were totally clueless and did not know how to start. All we had were very vague ideas of how we envisioned our house to be, and after hearing us out, Mac pitched in some suggestions and gave us some ideas, and also recommended us colour tones and laminates. The meeting lasted approximately 3 hours (as compared to other IDs whom we had met previously where each meeting lasted around 45mins-1hr only). Subsequently, we went to about 1-2 more IDs but eventually we decided to proceed with Mac.

As we formally started on the whole renovation process, Mac was always accommodating to our schedule and continued giving us his professional views from selecting tiles to bathroom facilities to switches and sockets. He continuously gave us updates on progress of the renovation, letting us know what are the works that have been completed, and whether we were on time, ahead or behind schedule.

The whole journey was very smooth, and while there were some hiccups here and there, they were not major. Most importantly, everything was done while being conscious of our budget. While the quotation Mac gave us was not the lowest, when we saw the final outcome, we were very pleased and felt that every dollar was well spent. Thanks Mac!
